How I can connect Wii to an AV receiver home theater? (YHT-493bl)?
I connected the cable component cable for the Wii AV-5 input I get sound but no video. What else needs to connect to get the video. I am using Yamaha yht-493bl HTIB. actually its the composite cable comes with Wii L @ Paul - custom to connect the AV output of the receiver to the new television directing sound to the TV through the receiver? Moreover, as I have understood what you mentioned is that I connect the Wii as a regular VCR legecy (theoritically)?
First, make sure the wire colors match the Wii AV5 input (yellow to yellow, red to red, white to white). Second, make sure you are running a composite (RCA) of a compound AV OUT IN your TV. This is where many people make a mistake ... you have to have one of the TV that match each type of power into the receiver. In other words, if you have a player DVD connected via HDMI and an HDMI going to TV, the Wii can not use that connection to your TV. Then make sure your receiver is AV5 configured to play the Wii and the TV is set to input that is connected to the AV OUT. Probably something like AUX1, AUX2, INPUT2, etc. Feel free to see things out, give some details and I will check again.

Where can I find the online manual yamaha surround sound?
I bought a home theater system yamaha, but a discount because lost the manual and remote. They said the manual would be the Yamaha site as Acrobat Reader, but I think they were wrong. Does anyone know where I can find the manual. The model number is YHT-591 I've tried this before, its something just a note to call out: (
