As the hard disk USB cables are connected from the inside?

As the hard disk USB cables are connected from the inside, I found Fouré Wired, White, Red, Black and Green, I tried to connect them in order, but did not work, probably, any body can help me, thanks.

My extnl storage USB hard drive data is no longer recognized by Windows XP Pro?

External hard drive (disk data storage E) is connectd by IDE / USB cable to the PC. I disconnected the hard disk of the end of the IDE cable, while cable is still in the USB port of your PC. I wanted to connect another hard drive that the first is complete (I have a single cable) cable works with the second slave drive, but reconnectd when full, no show in my computer. Have I damaged by unplugging the cable without pulling on the USB PC? And if so, what is the best way retrieving data on disk?

Try to close the computer after connecting the camera to turn on the computer again.
