I bought a Gateway notebook and it doesn't come with the system recovery dvd?
The seller at the store told me that the system recovery comes inside with the computer already. But I don't get it. This is the first time that i get a notebook, and whenever I've gotten desktop computers they do come with the recovery cd or dvd. So if I need to fix the gateway notebook one day, how am I gonna do it if it doesn't come with a system recovery dvd?
The laptop probably has the Gateway Recovery Console built into it. Look for it under start--all programs. You should be able to make your own recovery cd or dvd from there.

Can the toyota landcruiser navigation system play dvd?
I realise this has been discussed before, but have never found out exactly. Is there something that can be done to a 2005 landcruisers navigation system to enable it to play dvd movies. Also is there any way to plug an ipod into the device, via an AUX input or something?

Check out a company called Nav-tv, they make interface parts for OEM stereos. These pieces are usually only available through custom car audio shops. I would give them a call and see where their nearest dealer is to you. Their website is www.navtv.com
