Just go for an HDMI cable and connected my ps3 to my tv How I can play the sound through my surround sound system?

I have has a PS3 and an HDMI cable connected to my Hitachi TV. I play the sound through my sony surround sound system. There is no HDMI cable connection in the system surronded sound. How is the sound of my PS3 going through my surround sound system?

A second option is to use optical or coaxial digital output the TV to connect to your receiver from Sony. This would give the added option of hearing anything playing on your television through your surround sound system.

What is the best surround system for around two hundred dollars?

This is for a secondary tv that has an xbox 360, and dvd player hooked up to it. I want to be able to hook all these up and use the surround for watching tv too. IT doesnt have to be the best, just a pretty good system that will work with everying.

In that price range you should look for inputs and outputs as the deciding factor, you will get mediorce sound from a such a system.
