Can I plug two +,- speakers into one Red & Black hole?
Let me explain more:
You know how there are the red and black things that you put the speaker's cable into? Are you able to hook 2 or more speakers into each one? (Have 2 or more + cables into the + one, and 2 or more - cables into the - one)
You can, but it is NOT recommended. In effect, you lower the impedence of your output, which forces the AMP to work harder.
(if you put 2 8 ohm speakers in parallel, the receiver sees now 4 ohms).
If you think your amp supports the lower impedence, it is OK, otherwise you may blow it.
Speakers Black
when i turn my CRT TV on it works for a little while then the screen turns black and the speakers hum?
When i turn my TV on it works fine, and after about 2 or 3 minutes, the screen turns black, and it starts to hum. I hope it is fixable! I really don't want to junk this TV.
It is repairable, unless it's 13 years or older....That's the last year they sell parts for any TV set
