Speakers Black
How do you connect an iHome ih5 to a pair of speakers that have red and black speaker wire?
I need to connect my iHome ih5 clock radio to my old stereo speakers.
The iHome ih5 has a line out like this

The speakers have what I think are standard red and black speaker wires coming out of them like this

What's the cheapest and most effective way to connect the two?
you would have to get an amplifier thats output impedence matches the speakers impedence rating(normaly written in ohms as either 4,8 or 16), connect the line out to an aux input on the amplifier (depending on the amp it many also be video in or line in) and then run the speakers off the amp.
That would be the best way to do that.

Speaker wiring.. 2 black wires that run to your surround sound speakers, now the wire with the?
white stripe should be wired to the + (red terminal) right???
yes, the one with the stripe is positive, which goes to the red terminal. red is always positive, black negative.
