Outdoor Movie
Does anyone know of a cheap way to display an outdoor movie for 700+ people?

I know I will need a projector and sound system, but all the packages that I have looked at are thousands of dollars...any suggestions?

I know at my college they used to show movies by projecting them on the side of one of the dorms, I think they just hooked up a projector and some speakers up to a laptop and ran with it.

If you don't want to buy a projector or speakers you might ask around at schools/universities/churches if you can borrow/rent something from them or ask other people involved w/ your event if you can use something of theirs.

A question about where to go see an outdoor movie in LA on Valentine's Day 2011...?

I attend UCLA and was wondering if there is any outdoor movie showings in LA on Valentine's day. Maybe one that takes place in a park and shows on the side of a building or large screen. If anyone has seen the movie the Wedding Planner, that is the kind of movie screening that I am looking for.
