How can I tell if my Magnavox MWD7006 DVD player will play "multi region" DVDs?

My daughter LOVES Summer Heights from Australia. I notice that the DVDs for sale say that you need a multi region player.

If your player does not, its very easy to make it region free. Its a one-time operation that only takes a few seconds.

Usually you simply need a 4 digit code that is typed in via the remote.

Assuming this is XP, go to My Computer, right click on the DVD drive icon, select Properties, Hardware tab, select the drive and click on Properties. Go to the DVD Region tab and see if you can change the regions.

WARNING: Most DVD drives will only allow you to change the region code 5 times!!!!
