How do i connect surround sound speakers to my pvr + dvd player and telly?
i have a panasonic wide-screen telly, a dvd/vcr combi unit (samsung) and a humax pvr9200. Currently there are two scartleads connected to each. I am looking at getting some surround sound speakers for my system (dolby 5.1 maybe), but which is the best way to connect them to all of this?
Obviously i want to be able to watch a dvd with surround sound as well as freeview on the hummy, but without changing around the leads!
I am afraid the simple answer is the expensive one, get yourself a surround sound amp (AV). On the up side you can also connect Hi-Fi components CD Tuner etc and real speakers. My AV is programmable so the CD etc is set to stereo and the Video, DVD and T.V. are set to pro logic 5.1. Have a look at the Richer Sound Web page to get an idea of prices.
