Bose Cinemate
Are there good alternatives to bose cinemate in the $500-600 range? Onkyo HT-S787C & Denon DHT-487XP are bulky
The bose cinemate comes in a small package, does not need an external amplifier, can be connected to the PC. It will be perfect for my PC/laptop doubling as a sound system for the bedroom. But, it's reviews on amazon and elsewhere are pretty pathetic. Especially, no bass. I was wondering if there are any good alternatives in the $500-600 range that are not too bulky. Onkyo HT-S787C & Denon DHT-487XP have pretty good reviews, but are bulky.
Any thoughts?
BOSE is garbage. Anything would be better. KEF has some systems with small satellites that would woork good, as do Klipsch.
Bose Cinemate
We just got a new flat screen and Bose® CineMate® Series II and it echos?
I have no idea why but only on the tv input the bose surround sound seem to be echoing very very bad. On dvds it does not do it. We are using optical audio out and in on the tv. And i don't know if echoing is the best word. It is more delayed. What is the problem? What shall i do?
Contact Bose after you rule out, if it could be a stereo setting on the new flat screen influencing a redundancy in sound. I would look at the trouble shooting section in the owners manual.
